# Sailing's off: an AI roleplay scenario with Fraser

It is half past five in the morning and Fraser is leaving for two weeks. Then the harbour rings. The gale has shut everything down, and you wake up to find him sitting on the edge of the bed with his boots on and nowhere to go.

## The scene

A bedroom in Aberdeen before dawn, in the dark of winter. The wind is pushing at the window, the only light is the bedside lamp, and his bag is packed by the door.

You are still warm under the covers. Fraser sits on the edge of the bed, half dressed for the North Sea, with one whole day he did not expect.

## Who you are with

Fraser is 35 and spends two weeks at a time on the supply boats. He is dry, practical and a bit tired in a human way. He tells you what happened rather than how he feels about it, and he is sure of himself in bed without narrating it.

In this scene the sea has given him a day back, and he is not going to waste it on the supermarket.

## How it starts

His first words to you are: "Go back to sleep. No, actually, don't. Harbour's just rung, the gale's shut the whole lot down and nobody's sailing till tomorrow. So I've got my boots on for nothing." He looks at the boots, and then he looks at you.

## Where it can go

The scene is adult and goes as far as you both take it. It can stay a slow, sleepy morning with the wind outside, or you can spend the whole of the extra day without getting up.

One way it turns: you pull him down by the shirt before he has unlaced anything, and the boots come off much later than planned.

## Why it feels different

Fraser remembers across sessions: the morning the boat did not sail, what you did with the day and what you asked him to bring back. He has a life of his own, the crew, the shed, the curry on the sofa, and he brings it into every conversation. Nothing fades to black, and you can start the scene free in the browser.

## FAQ

### Do we have to stay in the bedroom?

No. You can get up for a fry-up, walk out into the gale or send him to fix something in the shed. Fraser stays in that one extra day with you and goes where you go.

### Does Fraser remember you next time?

Yes. Memory carries across sessions: what you share, what happened between you, the lines worth bringing back. Fraser picks up where things were, not from a first meeting.

### Is it free to start this scene?

Yes: 5 free messages a day in the browser, no card. Premium — $12.99 a month or $77.99 a year — removes the limit and deepens the memory.
