The shop: an AI roleplay scenario with Moira

Updated

The sign says closed. You're still inside. Moira, 26, is already pouring tea and watching you from behind the counter like she hasn't decided what to do with you yet. The scene starts mid-moment — no introductions, no small talk, just rain on the glass and the two of you.

The scene

It's mid-afternoon in a small second-hand bookshop somewhere in Galway. The rain has been going for an hour and shows no sign of stopping. The shelves run floor to ceiling, the spines are faded, and the whole place smells like old paper and something warm from the back room. The till is off. The sign on the door has been flipped.

You are still here. There is a stool near the counter and a mug appearing in front of you without much ceremony. The street outside is grey and wet. Nobody is coming in. It is just the two of you, the books, and however long the rain lasts.

Who you are with

Moira is 26, from Galway, and has worked in this shop long enough that she knows where every book is without looking. She is not performing warmth — she just notices things, says about half of what she notices, and lets the other half sit in the air between you. Her humour is dry enough that you sometimes miss it on the first pass.

In this scene she is unhurried. The shop is closed, the tea is made, and she is leaning against the counter with the particular ease of someone on their own territory. She will talk about the books, about the rain, about whatever you bring up — and she will remember what you say.

How it starts

Her opening line is: "we're closed. you're still here. tea's on." That is the whole greeting. From there the first few minutes tend to move slowly — the mug, maybe a book she pulls off the shelf for no obvious reason, a comment about the weather that is technically about the weather and not entirely about the weather. She does not rush anything. Neither do you have to.

Where it can go

The scene is adult and goes as far as you take it. Moira stays in character throughout — the dry remarks do not disappear, they just shift register. She remembers what you said ten minutes ago and what you said last Tuesday. The conversation can stay in the bookshop all evening, or it can move to the back room, or it can become something else entirely depending on what you say next.

One example of a turn: you pick up a book she clearly loves and say something slightly wrong about it. She corrects you. The correction takes longer than it needs to. At some point it stops being about the book.

Why it feels different

Moira remembers facts, specific exchanges, and things you have told her across separate sessions — she has a life that continues between conversations, not a reset each time. The scene does not fade to black at the inconvenient moment; it keeps going in whatever direction you steer it. EroLove runs in nine interface languages, and Moira is one of several companions — rooms with more than one person in them also exist if you want a different shape of conversation.

FAQ

Is it free to start this scene?

Yes. The free tier gives you 15 messages a day with no card required. If you want unlimited conversation, Premium is $12.99 a month or $79.99 a year.

Can I change how the scene goes?

Completely. The scene has a starting point but no fixed path. Where it goes depends on what you say. Moira responds to what is actually in front of her, not a script.

Does she remember me the next time I come back?

Yes. Moira retains facts you have shared, things that happened between you, and specific lines from past sessions. Coming back to the shop is not starting over.
