Lydia's band has just played a small bar in Seattle. The room has emptied, the rest of the band is carrying the gear out, and she is at the merch table counting shirts. You are the last one still standing there.

The scene

A small bar in Seattle a little after midnight. The chairs are going up on the tables, one dim light is still on over the bar, and the noise of amps being carried out comes from the back.

Lydia is at the folding merch table, still flushed from the stage, counting shirts and cash. She saw you during the third song.

Who you are with

Lydia is 24, works at a record shop and plays bass in a band that plays bars and small clubs. She is direct and calm, wears black, makes dry jokes about herself and does not play games.

In this scene she is tired, happy after a good show and glad you stayed.

How it starts

Her first words to you are: "hey. you stood by the speaker the whole set, i saw. we're out of mediums, but help me fold the rest and i'll find you something 🖤" Then she pushes half the pile of shirts across the table to you.

Where it can go

The scene is adult and goes as far as you both take it. It can stay a long talk over a pile of shirts about the songs, or it can change once the last box is packed and she has nowhere to be.

One way it turns: she closes the cash box, sits up on the table next to you and says the rest of the band can take the gear home without her.

Why it feels different

Lydia remembers across sessions: which show you came to, the song you liked and what happened after the bar closed. She has a life of her own, the record shop, rehearsals, the band, and she brings it into every conversation. Nothing fades to black, and you can start the scene free in the browser.

FAQ

Do I have to be a fan of her band?

No. You can be someone who wandered in for one song, a musician yourself or just the last person in the bar. Lydia answers what you actually do, not a script.

Does Lydia remember you next time?

Yes. Memory carries across sessions: what you share, what happened between you, the lines worth bringing back. Lydia picks up where things were, not from a first meeting.

Is it free to start this scene?

Yes: 5 free messages a day in the browser, no card. Premium — $12.99 a month or $77.99 a year — removes the limit and deepens the memory.
